Well, we’re back for another fun filled weekend of house work. Nothing big happening… really. Lets see…
It’s Super Bowl weekend which we’ll be attending a party with friends here in Austin. But next year, we’ll probably be throwing one, seeing we got a surprise house warming gift from our friends, Brian and Cara: they bought us a Read more »

Some of you may notice that going back to old posts whereby we linked to pictures, that certain pics are not viewable now. This is all because of the house album. I’ve not had enough time to really get in there and program the page the way it should be so it loads fast. See “English” or “Non programmer talk below”. :)
Meaning: The page loaded so slow that we removed some pictures from the picture album folder. We didn’t delete the pictures. We only moved some pictures to a different folder so we could add some recent ones to the main folder. At some point, I will add all the pictures back and create a new album page that will load more efficiently. Ok Alan, there you have it! You happy now????? HA HA!!!!!
But until we get the new page up and rolling, please use the following good ole’ pic link: http://www.alandmal.com/12301Beartrap.php
AND A BIG P.S. IF YOU DO CLICK A LINK ON A POST AND A PIC DOESN’T WORK, PLEASE LEAVE US A COMMENT ON THAT POST SO I KNOW ABOUT IT. THANKS

I wanted to share a quick post with you in regards to Mal doing some decor shopping for the house. She picked up an awesome work of art for the half bathroom and to my surprise, it was a piece we had saw some months ago. The ironic thing about the work of art is that Read more »

A day off… Well, its Sunday afternoon and we’ve had breakfast and went shopping rather looking for our new bedroom furniture. In our first store, the customer service wasn’t too hot as we had been in the store for 5 minute before anyone said anything to us. Even then, we had to go and track down a sales rep. Even if we wanted to buy at that very moment, we Read more »

Unlike Al, I had no desire to work on the house last night. It’s funny because I want breaks from the house work at times, yet the ‘mess’ drives me bananas. Tuesday night I did a lot of work picking up, hanging a few pieces, etc. When one of the new wall art items I bought fell, broke into 7 pieces, and took chunks out of the new baseboard I just about lost it. This is when I called it a night. Read more »
