First of all, Happy Mother’s Day to everyone, rather all the mothers. Our weekend was spent all across Texas. Mal went to see her mother as well as give a shower for a close friend in the Houston/Conroe area. I was going to stay behind and work on a web project, but God had other plans for me. I ended up taking a day trip to Keller, Texas and spending time with family. I got back pretty late Saturday night but the trip was worth it, seeing family, especially my mom. 
As for the house… It’s been quite a while since Mal and I last touched the house. Matter of fact, I don’t even remember what exactly I last did besides getting Bekah’s room ready… but two months went mighty quick. Now that the weather is starting to heat up a bit, I can hopefully get into the groove of things once more. We have a long list of items remaining until we complete the first floor, but we’re getting there little by little. Even the outside of our home is coming together. The lawn is losing weeds and grass is getting thick. Our roses are budding like crazy. I’ve cut the trees back. We will probably plant flowers within the next few months — ones that can withstand the scorching Texas heat!
