Had you asked me if we were going to have the front yard landscaped by the end of the year, I would have made a sly comment of some sort about it not happening until next spring. Well, the unexpected happened and a great deal came our way to get raised flower beds in the front yard before year end. At least the front of the house will be looking halfway decent with matching bricks! I doubt we will get to add weed barriers, top soil, planting soil, and flowers since cold weather is lurking just around the corner. Oh well, that can be next year’s project when we look to add a sprinkler system for both the front and back yards. Who knows… we may have the backyard done by the end of January… ok, that’s a push, but we might have it done… stressing “might”… :) But with the good, comes the bad… I’ll discuss in my next post.
