Okay, I’ve been MIA on remodeling the house that last few weekends, or at least getting big projects started/completed. And with the economy only going down more, we’ve been reluctant to starting/finishing major projects like wood floors, kitchen appliances, sprinkler system, ordering furniture and the other half of the kitchen. Hey there! Here is question for each of you: Has the house changed, and if so, what has been the biggest surprise about the remodel so far? And if any of you say me doing the work, then I’m turning everyone into the IRS! Just kidding… but I thought I might get a rise from a few of you by making such a comment and seeing tax time is here again!!! :)
The last few days have been a blur for us! Mal is back and our house is back to being consistent. Brice and Butter were soooooo glad to see Mal and I definitely was glad to see her too! And this morning, the landscaping guys came back to start on the backyard or at least give us a quote for the backyard landscaping. I told them I wanted to shift gears and get a quote for the front yard sprinkler since the dogs area has not been built in the backyard and they would end up destroying all of their good work.
But there was some else I wanted to tell you all… Lets see… what was this post suppose to be about?????? Hmmmm…. having trouble here… Oh yes, that’s what it was about:
Like most people, we get the “what happened” or “what is the latest on the house” or “how is the house coming along”…
Well, here we go… We were to suppose to work on hanging all doors, build/install master closet, install baseboards, and grouting the remainder. Hmm… long way from it, but we did get some things done this weekend. Of course we made our trip to Lowes and Home Depot on Friday night and loaded up on the supplies we would need for Saturday and Sunday projects… like two kids in a candy store! :)
